This fundraiser is designed to fund the activities for the 1^st Brigade Family Readiness Group (1BDEFRG). This joint funding venture will distribute donations (sweepstakes entries) between 1BDEFRG (50%), the State Guard Association of Texas (SGATX) (25%), and the TXSG Memorial Fund (25%). This is a five-year funding event. Each year, a rifle will be the grand sweepstake prize, limited to a maximum of 5,000 entries.

Grand prize: Henry Repeating Rifle in 45 Long Colt.  Also includes a display case, a custom ammo box, and 10 rounds. The rifle features an embedded 1 Troy ounce pure silver TXSG coin in the buttstock.

Entries are open to any legal citizen of the United States who is legally allowed to purchase or own a firearm.  This is a working firearm; it should not be purchased for children or used by children without proper firearms safety training and appropriate adult supervision. By participating in this sweepstakes, you agree to the terms and conditions and agree to indemnify 1BDEFRG, its officers, or agents.

The drawing date is planned for December 15, 2026. However, 1BDEFRG will hold the drawing earlier if all entries are claimed.  If fewer than 1,000 entries are received by December 15, 2026, 1BDEFRG reserves the right to postpone the drawing for 90 days (March 15, 2027) to allow for additional entries. The drawing will occur at 7:00 PM Central Time; entries can be received until 5:00 PM Central Time on the day of the drawing. In the event the drawing is held earlier than December 15, 2025, notification will be sent via email.
